Salman Khan: Didn't Suggest Kriti for 'Sultan,' Sonakshi Sinha to Do 'Dabangg 3'

There has been a lot of speculation about who will play Salman Khan's leading lady in Yash Raj Films' "Sultan," ever since Kangana Ranaut said no to the film. There had been talks about Priyanka Chopra being approached for the project. Then there were talks that Yash Raj Films' was keen on signing Parineeti Chopra while Salman had recommended Kriti Sanon.
But Salman, who is promoting "Sultan" at the moment, has denied recommending the young actress. “I don't interfere in these things. The producer and the writer decide which girl suits the role and if she has dates. They ask me, but that's it. Recommending somebody is like taking away somebody else's work," said Salman at an event, but did not confirm who would be playing the lead role. The actor though confirmed that Sonakshi Sinha will be a part of "Dabangg 3." The script of the third installation of the hit franchise is nearing completion, and the shooting for the film is expected to start next year. "Dabangg 3" will release in 2017. But will he be booking yet another Eid weekend for release? We will wait to find that one out. Meanwhile, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is set to release this Eid, and "Sultan" next Eid.
