Story:
Samantha (Adonika), a free-spirited girl who believes in living in the moment happens to meet Kittu (Sairam Shankar) at Rome. During the course of their travel, Kittu starts liking Samantha but he was taken aback knowning she have a boyfriend Rakesh (Subbaraj). A twist here forces Samantha to take the help of Kittu. Why did Kittu come to Italy? Why did Samantha seek the support of Kittu despite not loving him? What has Kittu done to win his girl?
Artists Performance:
Sairam Shankar: He hasn't showed any signs of improvement as an actor. Watching him in every frame throughout the movie is really tiresome.
Adonika: She appears as a travel-buff and hardly manages to create a good impression with this movie.
Raviteja: He agreed to play a cameo just because of his bonding with Puri. In the 5-minutes role as Sairam Shankar's Brother, He is okay.
Subbaraju, Jayasudha, Ali, Nagababu, Pragathi and Other were adequate.

Analysis:
'Romeo' marks the debut of Gopi Ganesh, who is a protege of Puri Jagannath, as director. Puri himself provided story and dialogues for the movie. Sadly, none of them were up to his standards. Gopi Ganesh failed terribly in the execution, be it romance, comedy or emotional scenes.
Sunil Kashyap's Songs were good. PG Vindha's Cinematography is an asset. Production Values are decent.
Though the run time is just 2 Hours, 'Romeo' tests the patience of audience and watching this movie till the very end is no less than a 3rd degree torture.
At Box Office, 'Romeo' mayn't even recover at least 1/4th of its production cost and Sairam Shankar's disaster streak continues.
