According to director the movie is triangular action drama starts in Coimbatore and ends at Patna. South Indian hot actress Shruthi Haasan is playing lead role in the movie. Vishal has lot of expectation on the movie and highlight of the film is Andrea’s item number in the movie. So let us see the story of the movie.
Story:
Vasu (Vishal) son of G.K. (Raghuvaran) is a most respected and influencial person in the Vizag city, due to misunderstanding he earns through interest by giving money to poor and needy in Jnanapuram market. In course of time he meets D (Shruthi Haasan) both like each other and falls in love meanwhile Vasu comes in trouble after he saves ADSP Shivaram Nayak (Satyaraj) from Singanna (Mukesh Tiwari) a contract killer with political influences.  Vasu’s mother (Radhika) calls back him to the family to take revenge on Singanna.  Now the twist of the movie starts here, who is Singanna? What is enemity between Singanna and Vasu family? Why Vasu is away from family? Will Vasu takes revenge on Singanna to know about these you have to watch the movie.
Plus Points:
Hero Vishal performance as an angry young man is superb and done complete justice to the movie. His action, romance and comedy is perfectly done in the film. His romance with Shruthi Haasan is watchable and Shruthi with her glamor and exposing body is highlight of the movie. Mukesh Tiwari’s role is perfect suitablefor the villain role and the director has used him in the movie in a right way and Mukesh as a bad guy done justice for his roke. Radhika, Satyaraj and others fine, Suri comedy is also attracted the audiences. Adrea Jermiah item number is also good in the movie.
Minus points:
The story line of Pooja is nothing new and it is routine like other action stories, the first half is very entertaining but the second half is total action and violence and no entertainment.  The director should have taken care Mukesh Tiwari’s role in the movie.
Technical points:
The music of Yuvan Shanker Raja is fine and melodious, all the songs are good and he has done his job very well with his background music. Camerawork of Priyan is ok and fine. Dialogues are good,  the director Hari has taken the movie in a smooth way in the first half but when it comes to second half he confused the audiences and there is no suspense in the movie, everything is revealed in a fast manner. Hari should have taken some care in handling the script of the movie. However Hari has delivered a decent family drama which will entertain the audiences.
Overview:
The movie is overall is good, decent and family entertainer, the highlight of the movie is Vishal action and direction of Hari. Pooja movie is a good movie made by the Vishal on his home banner after long time the actor has come with mass entertainer for the audiences. The film is perfect to watch with entire family.
Conclusion :  Pooja  is a movie which has to watch with family.
