Shankar, the director who makes India proud with his movies, which have unique story and extra ordinary visual effects, is coming up with a new movie which is titled as ‘I’. You might wonder what is the meaning of this title and how is it related to the story. Well! I, as in Tamil AI, which means handsome in Tamil language is the ey part for the story of this movie. The movie features Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. The music for the movie is composed by A R Rahman. Arnold Schwarzennegar, Hollywood hero, had atteneded the audio launch event of this movie. He expressed his wish to act in any of Shankar’s movies.

The movie is scheduled to be released on january 14^th worldwide, after surpassin many obstacles in its way to release. The movie is being produced and distributed by Aascar Ravichandran. The cinematograhy is handled by P C Sreeram, who is considered as the Guru Of Cinematography and editing is taken up by Anthony, who is a famous editor in South Indian Cinema. The run time of this movie is 188 minutes, according to the film makers.

In the film, Vikram plays the character called ‘Lingesan’, who considers Arnold Schwarzenegger as a role model and his only aim in life is to win the Mr. Tamil Nadu title. Shankar had crafted the hair style of Vikram by taking the front curl look of the younger Arnold Schwarzenegger as a reference.As per director Shankar, among all get-ups in the film, the hunchbacked man character was the most difficult one to sketch. Vikram was confirmed to sport his hunchbacked get-up in most parts of the film. Vikram had put in strenous efforts for the film and he lost as many as 25 Kg to look apt in his role. Amy Jackson appears as a model in this movie.
