readers may recall that the indiancinema .com had reported about Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab, for which he had signed Shahid Kapoor. Now, the news is that the director has signed up the firebrand actress Alia Bhatt as the leading lady of the film.
Confirming the story, Abhishek said was that the film will go on floors in February next year and that the film will be dealing with the subject of rampant drug abuse happening in Punjab. Besides this, he refused to divulge any details.
