Director: G.Nageshwara Reddy
Producer: Manchu Vishnu
Banner : 24 Frame Factory
Music: Achu
Rating: 2.5/5.

Story:

Story begins with arrest of Shiva Rama Raju (Jagapathi Babu), the most respected person in Parvathipuram on the charges of killing his daughter Kavitha (Rakul Preet Singh) and Raju (Manchu Manoj), when they are on elopement plan.

Into flashback, Raju is leader of a youth gathered VIP Association in village. Raju initially is infatuated by School English Teacher (Sunny Leone) and uses student Kavitha for transporting the love letters. Once Teacher marries an odd personality (Sampoornesh Babu), soon Raju realizes his real love for Kavitha and she too responds in no time falling flat for Raju’s heroism. The only hurdle before both of them is Shiva Rama Raju. When Kavitha’s weeding is fixed with a middle aged guy (Prithviraj), she decides to elope with Raju. Did Shiva Rama Raju really shot Raju and Kavitha? If not what leads to happy ending is climax.

Plus points:

Manchu Manoj with his mass looks and dialogues has created highlighted in the movie. . Rakul Preet Singh attracts all with her cute looks and beauty. Jagapathi Babu played another powerful role. Tagubotu Ramesh, Dhanraj, Vennela Kishore,30yrs Prithvi entertained with their comedy. Tanikella Bharani did well as hero's father. Sampoornesh Babu entertained with his dialogues in few seconds screen presence.

Except a minor dose of love and family element, there isn’t much of juice in the story to churn out a 2+ hour film. Taking total spirit from original Tamil version, G Nageswara Reddy added our Telugu mark screenplay using the hero image. Although story is wafer thin, movie traveled smoothly without any big hurdles with few shake ups in second half let down the flow. Especially, there is a big dip in entertainment quotient of GNR for the second half. Kishore Thirumala’s dialogues were purely conventional. Camera work of Satish Muthyala is dazzling with well composed, well shot songs and dynamically composed action blocks. Editing by SR Sekkhar was also sleek. Thumbs Up for music of Achchu who repeatedly gives only the best for Manoj and BGM was definitely a spirited work. Production values of Vishnu Manchu and 24 Frames are appreciable.

 Minus Points:

The story of the movie routine there is no special in the film, the second half of the film dragging and full of sentiment.Weakest link in the film is Jagapathi Babu’s role which bought the level of output by one step down. The same actor who was treated as advantage for many films earlier in supporting roles disconcerted the viewers with confusing and abnormal behavior. Climax of ‘Current Theega’ fell flat on nose because of GNR’s ineffectual treatment of JB.If the tempo and gear in second half would have matched the first, ‘Current Theega’ would have been a real good film.

Technical points:
Music of Achu entertains the audiences and he has scored back ground music is good. The stunts in the fim is fantastic and lovely. . Editing of SR.Sekhar could have been far better. Cinematography of Satish is good.  Dialogues are quite catchy leaving masses demand for more. The director could taken care of the script of the movie how the movie is average.
Conclusion:
The director of the movie G.Nageswar Reddy has ignored the Script of the movie due to which the film has gone waste and he used talented actress Rakul Preet singh and Sunny Leone for no use in the film  Overall we can say the movie is average to show for the audiences.
All in all, the movie is surely worth watchable ones for Manchu Manoj energy and Rakul Preet Singh beauty.
But the title Current Theega is not apt  as it has  no power in the movie.
