LOOTERA
DIRECTOR VIKRAMADITYA MOTWANE IS FEELING BAD FOR
HER ACTRESS SONAKSHI SINHA. THE DIRECTOR SAYS
ALTHOUGH THE FILM MANAGED TO CLICK WITH CRITICS,
SONAKSHI WAS NOT AWARDED FOR HER ROLE IN THE FILM. HE FELT THAT
SHE DESERVED THE AWARD FOR HER PERFORMANCE IN THE FILM.
SPEAKING TO A LEADING DAILY, MOTWANE SAID, “'LOOTERA' WAS A
LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR ME. THE FILM HAD RECOVERED ITS MONEY, BUT IT HAD MIXED
RESPONSE. AS FAR AS AWARDS ARE CONCERNED, I AM FEELING BAD FOR SONAKSHI AS HER
PERFORMANCE WAS OUTSTANDING AND SHE DESERVED AN AWARD FOR IT. HOWEVER, THE
NOMINATIONS WERE DECIDED BY THE JURY MEMBERS.”
